Is Silence Golden But My Eyes Still Saw




 “Is SILENCE GOLDEN?”   has been my Remixed  theme song since 2020 and beyond! The Great Reveal is on as Musk Undeletes all time stamped tweets generated by the lock ‘n step propaganda machine. 

As all Vertical Lies deployed upon humanity in the great RESET is being Exposed! Nope not today Satan! The Great Reveal brought to us by our All American  Hero’s including the ‘Firebrands’ the ‘Posse’ the ‘Wolf Pack’ and our modern day ‘Iron Man.’ Hey courts and Judges can We The People now have “Standing” to be heard? Our day in Court as afforded by our law of our land! Remember, Our Bill of Rights clause of Due Process?

So how do we protect our sanity our well-being back into a Homeostasis status? The Concerted Global Gas Lighting (all pronouns welcome here;) has led to bloody-tongue -word-twisting and biting cruelty. The “nothing to see here“ narrative of the mind bending unrelenting psychological warfare that was deployed upon all of humanity must be addressed. 

We need to Reveal Wounds psychological or physical in order to Heal! We must find ways to offset the “don’t believe you’re lying eyes” narrative. We simply cannot unsee the past three years, and the toll it has taken. 

Anyone that knows of my dedicated service to the healing arts of 44 years, knows that I will always offer solutions to consider when posing problems. One Rising concern I’ve seen is regarding blood pressure. Maintaining Homeostasis is not possible when blood pressure is either too high or low. 

There’s no doubt Humanities stress levels have been rampant and prolonged. It’s no wonder I’ve seen arise in clients experiencing: racing or fast heartbeat, Hypertension, high blood pressure not to mention strokes and heart attacks! The symptoms may include but are not limited to abnormal heartbeat, anxiety, lightheadedness, pain or tightness in the chest, neck back or arms. 

Gaia’s apothecary is proof positive mankind was given all that we need in the Garden of Eaten! It is what ‘The Power of Weee’ refers to as the “original medicine“ ie. food as medicine. Food Is Not What some would have us believe as the “alternative.” Food is, was and always will be the original medicine intended for mankind’s well-being. As a Herbalist I would be remiss not to share one of my favorite old school, “go to’s” in my cupboard!

That being said, Now back to the garden! Capsicum the active constituent found within a whole family of peppers may do more than spice up your life. Many of my next statements “may” have actually been “proven.” But suffice it to say I will be inserting the word “May.“ 

Spicy food including many varieties of peppers contain Capsicum the active constituent that may aid in lowering blood pressure by controlling blood flow. By improving the circulatory system your heart, arteries, capillaries and nerves may be strengthened as well. Cayenne or capsicum may act to Tonify; that is to support or nourish many bodily functions. 

For many decades I begin most mornings with a warm tonic on an empty stomach drank through a straw. I have many tonic additions depending on the season but they all include: lemon or apple cider vinegar always with a dash of cayenne pepper to start my metabolism and aid in the possibility of clearing mucus out of my body! 

And since were sticking to the basics of “The Great Reset 101” of doing No Harm let’s get back to the basics! In my writing and teaching I will always try to default To the old adage that you have exactly what you need within your reach! 

One of the known and often forgotten tools within your reach is your breath. Be it anxiety, hypertension, Racing Hearts no matter what your expression is of your in-balance; the fastest way to check in with yourself before you wreck yourself is to focus on your breath.

Just 🧘‍♂️  Breathe 🧘  please 🧘‍♀️ 

It’s not just for yoga girls;) 

There are as many disciplines of breath control and awareness as there are snowflakes;) Become an advocate of your role in self-care and take responsibility for re-educating yourself on this first action of your life! With focus on deeper, slower, more measured breaths; we can breathe new life, renewed Spiritus (ie Holy Spirit) into every fiber of  your being. 

Why even our very overloaded brains register this measured breath as a state of relaxation. Have you ever heard the term rest and digest? This does not just apply to the foods that we digest but it also applies to our ability to digest our lives. In my writings and teachings I am of the mindset that one size does not fit all and that you must find the system that suits your needs. 

So let’s start at the very beginning with what is called baby’s Buddha Belly’s first breath. You can’t get more basic in my ‘Great Reset 101’  than with the tool that you have right under your nose!  Known to “may” help with many of the aforementioned maladies. I will leave you with a simple formula that I’ve used with children. “Simon Says” ...

Breathe in through the nose •  for a count of 4 expanding and welcoming softness ~ focus on the Life Giving property of oxygen •

• Now hold at the top of the breath count of 4 ~allowing the breath to expand throughout your body infusing your cells with life’s element • 

•  Through perched lips exhale for same count of 4 ~ to expel byproducts and release unwanted emotions ~ that no longer serves you ~ imagine exhale as important as inhale to dispel • 

•Now hold at bottom of breath same 4 count (for now) ~ allowing the body the empty space in order to

Now, Rinse and Repeat. I pray you, ‘Dew Drop Inn Often,” to develop this invaluable Habit! This mindfulness is what I deem as a walking, waking, secular meditation. For some times we need to lose ourselves in order to find ourselves! This quiet space, will do more than you may know to realign with your true nature. This mindful pause helps to remove the automatic responses in life. To develop an Eagle’s eye bringing forth a new perspective.  A round of 4 done several times throughout your day can give you a new lease on life! Quiet moments such as time on your ‘Throne’ or driving or even standing in line makes good use of your time. 

All of nature stays true to nature, naturally; as it realizes its full zenith potential in the stillness of just being. Our true nature reveals itself in the still point of meditation. But first you must show up to train the mind gently and consistently to rest in silence. For it is in the quietude of regular meditation, the ability to connect to the source of consciousness itself is revealed. It is in this silence that the very nature of Self can reveal itself!

Oh yeah and just smile please, surely you’ve heard that a simple smile has the ability to release a plethora of feel good hormones                           but more on that in another read!

Dazed and Confused Yet?


You’ve heard about the ‘Terrible Twos?’ The terrible twos do not hold a candle to 2020, 2021 and 2022! If you’re worn out, from shenanigans that these years have revealed globally, Know you are in good company! These ...”Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Days” have left humanity Dazed! 
Funded by dark money, the Classic 1984 Orwellian double speak has been relentless. 

Sadly, all of humanity is rising to the old clichΓ© we are “mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.” The movie Network from back in the day; had citizens disgusted by mass media; tossing TV’s out their windows! It just might be time to at least unplug from lock step narratives to save your sanity!

Take a look at global affairs mass media is once again not reporting! CRICKETS! Let me remind you that Omission of Facts is also a Lie! Brazilian citizens have taken to their streets for over a month now. And look at China being compared to Tiananmen Square or their Boxer Rebellion. Brave citizens are rising despite CCP’s advancement of military force. 

And AZ!? In USA! Really! “Oh come on man” Again! Once Bitten Twice Shy! Lord help us get “STANDING” to finally!?! Be allowed to be Heard in our own court systems!The art of the πŸ™ steal is finally going to be revealed ... πŸ™

Oh... the “Nothing to see here” narrative of  the mind bending psychological warfare being deployed  upon Humanity of ... “don’t believe you’re lying eyes” narrative doesn’t hold water any longer. We can not unsee these past 3 years! 

Anyone that knows of my work, knows I do not rant without a solution. So, I am sharing what I consider one of my most valuable tools in my tool box as a life coach and medicine women of 44 years. We must focus with lessor sharp in-sight;                 on what we can change. Ourselves!                 The micro to the macro sow to speak!

 In my writing and teaching I suggest that our society does not teach the language of emotions. Just like the tides of the ocean with its ebb and flow so goes our oceans of emotions!  There are 22 levels of emotions!  Below please use the “Emotional Guidance Scale” from Abraham Hicks’ “Law of Attraction” in “Ask and it is Given -Part ll” 

“Your Mission, should you decide to accept it, is to” ... identify your current state of emotions from the below provided list. With mindful attention and self-awareness, raise the vibration of your whole being by moving up the emotional ladder by at least one step UP! 

This could take hours or even days. At times you may find you’re right match up the ladder maybe several levels up. Skipping above the next set of emotions to the one that resonates with you is best. Remember you can’t do this wrong when your intention is right. Believe in your gut instincts as to which level you are ready to rise to.

Be Honest and kind with yourself, there is nothing to defend nothing to judge. There is always room for improvement and the buoyancy unstuck emotions can yield! πŸ¦‹ -Simply Cathryn

It is no longer a secret that zinc is an amazingly beneficial mineral for young and old. It is also well documented that the human body does not naturally digest zinc easily. A more bioavailable, zinc may be chelated, which means it is bonded to another compound to make it absorbable.


Sesame Seeds, Shell Fish, Rice + Avocado all have zinc 


So here’s to my nod, my wink to zinc. It’s a fact that not all zinc it created equal. My choice of zinc is Picolinate or Chelated. Cheaper forms are known to create stomach upset or may leave a metal taste on your tongue. Theses disturbances are common and an indicator that excessive zinc is passing through the body, unabsorbed. That is, not available for the body to use! Zinc Gluconate, Sulfate or Oxide may also be good choices to consider.

For cold and flu seasons, consider zinc gluconate lozenges for it ‘may’shorten illness duration and severity! Consider zinc gluconate lozenges. Garden of Giardiniera

Most Americans know that is was the Italian immigrates who taught us how to eat;) 

This post is brought to you by my daily love of fermented foods as Original Medicine, which is  found in GIARDINIERA. And no, it’s not just the Chicago thing for this Chicago girl. Italian, Giardiniera is also called sottaceti. Sottaceti translates to ‘under vinegar,’ which is the commonly used term for pickling foods.

 A little personal Reveal here when I say, it’s true you can take the girl out of the city but you can’t take Chicago out of the girl. Though I made my way at the tender age of 18 to Key West for two years, and then to San Francisco to cut my teeth. Ending up in Florida to raise a family. I have not returned to my hometown but for visits. And still, I am recognized by my anecdotal Chicago classic accent and easy laugh. Six decades later, many adult traditions stems from being born on the Southside of Chicago to a Greek butcher.

As a shout out to my childhood stomping grounds, please humor me with a little indulgence here. It was the early 1920s that giardiniera started to make a name for itself in the communities of Italian immigrants in Chicago. Giardiniera grew in popularity throughout the city. This vegetable relish is chopped fine, producing the crisp, tang found on Chicago's beloved Italian beef. 

Chicago’s condiment is as boisterous as the city itself. This relished relish is mostly pickled carrots, cauliflower, celery and peppers. It is submerged in oil, with fiery bites of Sorento chili peppers, also known as sport peppers. Think Chicago dog once again with a salad on top, featuring sport peppers. Legend has it this pepper was named sport because of the hotdogs sold in the baseball stadiums. I grew up with this Chicago ‘condiment’ version that ended up on our famous Italian beef or Sausage sandwiches. Whether you buy your Italian beef on a street cart or in your kitchen it is topped with Chicago’s Giardiniera.

This condiment relish is a go to in my hOMe. We raised a family of four, on a musicians budget. Needless to say, I have been known not to waste a single drop in my kitchen. That includes the vast vats of pickles bought for my children Ross and Rose and their sport teams. We didn’t just eat the pickles. Some of us drink the juice while mama cooked with pickled juice in such things like potato salad. But in a pinch, I’ve been known to throw my blanched summer vegetables in the leftover pickling juices for quick pickled veggies and even eggs. 


Giardiniera is not just a Chicago ‘thang!’ Though come to think about it; the other destination to this culinary delight is in New Orleans. History shows many a Chicagoan musician looking for their rising star, southbound on a train to relocate 
to N’Awlins.


Well... this food connection … 
Found its’ way through the Blues and Jazz music scene. New Orleans found trainloads of hungry musicians establishing the Chicago connection in the heart of the French quarters. I can well imagine these hungry musicians finding a days worth of food in the portable Muffuletta with the back home Windy City flavor profile of giardiniera as the ultimate comfort food to feed the soul,
 I know I do ❤️


In my kitchen, there’s not a big difference between these two relished relishes. Often the growing season dictates what goes into my garden in a jar. Although I do appreciate the difference between the two taking a little from both and blending them. I appreciate, Muffuletta’s reliance on olives and addition of capers in their Olive spread.


 But I also like the garden in jar approach of Giardinera. I rely on my garden as well as my palate as I marry my two favorite condiments together. I put my garden in a jar dictated by the natural ways of season by season. Always making it my own with the pucker power of a 
heavy bite of a blend of vinegars. And of course Chicago’s feisty bites of sport peppers, 
Serranos or pepperoni. 


WHY IS GIARDINIERA part of 
my ‘Garden-Of-Eaten’ 
Giardiniera means “from the garden” in Italian. 
This concept credited here has a long history in Italy. Though in my writing the point is often 
made that all of humanity depended upon fermented foods across the lands, 
cultures, and has withstood the test of time. 
It was the way of all societies, before we     ‘plugged’ into refrigerators and lost 
this valuable daily nutrient based 
Biome, Friendly Flora or Probiotics! 

Rich in antioxidants, such as beta carotene and vitamin C. And by now we are all well, aware of dietary fiber’s ability to possibly improve blood pressure, colon health  and kidney function. In this day and age, it is a well-known fact of the many benefits of capsicum as found in our pepper family. But that’s another Book. lol.


The possibilities are limited only by your imagination, garden and pantry! Fresh vegetables and herbs and spices are brined and pickled in marinades as a way of preserving it for the winter blues! You may want to double your batch for this is diversity in a jar. Use as a relish, condiment, sandwich, salad or pizza topper. My home favorite is a picnic style antipasto platter!



If it all begins in the shopping cart Central Groceries in the French Quarter of New Orleans, is a must stop! Each and every time I visit this Diverse eclectic culture! It never disappoints, in nearly a dozen visits in 4 decades and
