Gluten/Grain Free Veggie Noodles Made Easy Peasy

I am happy to report that providing families with gluten free choices has finally become mainstream.

The daze of hours in the kitchen are a thing of the past, with the 

‘Garden of Eaten’s 

Bounty. Not only are we crafting food as medicine for our families fare, we are giving our guts a chance to rest and digest. Green papaya has the natural enzymes like papain. This enzymes is a protease which helps to breakdown proteins. In addition to this digestive aid Raw papaya has fibre that is likened to a broom, aiding in the removal of the toxins in the body.

We use our Backyard organic green papaya instead of nightshade potatoes in our beef stew. The green papaya   held its shape and kept its 

toothy bite for days. 

The nutritional value contained within the green papaya is the Enzyme papain, a magic bullet in my medicine cupboard. Papain is well known for its ability to address inflammation while also supporting digestion and 

immune system function. Much has been studied about green Papaya (papain) and its anti-inflammatory, swelling, pain, and anti-Cancer properties. Studies have proven these constituents, act as building blocks for new cells as well. Quite the opposite of nightshades and potatoes. 

These papaya's are our healthy choice for potatoes, so tasty and good for you. 

Green papaya along with yucca are often used as substitute for potato in soups and stews! 

Also served uncooked in Thai Green Papaya Salad, that is as nutritious as it is delicious. Talk about friendly foods “with benefits.” 

“Som tam” satisfies all of the taste buds; pungent, salty, sour and sweet. A prime example of food as medicine. This one will always fits the bill.

Green papayas have a higher amount of potassium than ripe papayas and much less sugars. Potassium is one of the major electrolytes in the blood along with organic sodium that carrying a beneficial positive electrical charge. 

Anyone, that knows of my work and writing has been taught that enzymes are essential as a “spark of life.”

Enzymes are my second favorite nutrient ; second only to probiotic, which literally means “for life.”

Grateful for our abundant papaya trees lasagna made with green papaya noodles; offering my favorite enzyme Papain! There is gain here without the pain of inflammation.

Honorable mentions for oodles of noodles that are not just gluten-free, but grain are: carrots, beets, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, or zucchini. Though these are a few our favorites, only your imagination can limit the possibilities. It be hard to beat this zucchini treat as a Mexican enchilada.

 I am happy to report that providing your families with gluten free even grain free choices has finally became main stream. Once again proving that Gaia’s pantry is not “alternative medicine” but indeed Original Medicine or what the Power of Weee calls

It All Begins In Your Shopping Cart

Eat food grow food! It all begins in your shopping cart! I buy and therefore support local farmers or farmers markets. Choosing to spend a wee bit more I choose Organic whenever possible! I look for veggies yearning to continue to grow with green toppers. And Voila from scraps to table for another meals fare

It does begin in the shopping cart! If a farmers market is not on hand, choose mindful choices, with one simple 89% Rule! 80% of my shopping is done on the outer perimeter of Grocery stores! I raised my family on 80% of outer perimeter’s good choices of dairy, proteins and vegetables! In my writing I often quote Our father of medicine Hippocrates, who said "let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." And an expansion of Carl Sagan's viewpoint, "but you know life is for learning. We are Stardust. Billion-year-old carbon. We are golden and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden." 

My writings in The Chakra Alchemy Living Workbook, touch on some philosophies to guide us through this paradigm shift back to what the Power of Weee refers to as Om medicine or Original Medicine. It does begin in our shopping carts, here's a look into my choice of supporting local flea/ farmers markets! If a green thumb is not on hand, support local cottage industries.  This mom and pop store has been serving us for 20 years. Growing much of their own like these parsnips fennel, garlic and bok Choy.

It's been said "Coffee lovers are discerning people." I reference in my writing, how connoisseurs of wine, develop their ‘noses’ and their language around the aroma and scents of their beloved grapes! This holds true for my beloved coffee and cacao beans!

 It means it begins in your shopping cart! 

To put things in a mind bending perspective;  Coffee is one of the top traded commodities in the world! Think about that!

 

Growing methods have been developed to maximize production, with no regard to sustainability! 

These non-organic beans are one of the most heavily chemically treated foods in the world, in its growing process.

Then insult to inquiry; our beans are disrespected further as they are steeped with synthetic processes! (The processing process, is yet another can worms.) 

This is on top of the fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides – all this lands in the land! Not to mention the mindlessness of ‘out of sight out of mind.’ These un-wholly beans land in our cups! They cheat us as a holy-whole
