It's been said "Coffee lovers are discerning people." I reference in my writing, how connoisseurs of wine, develop their ‘noses’ and their language around the aroma and scents of their beloved grapes! This holds true for my beloved coffee and cacao beans!
It means it begins in your shopping cart!
To put things in a mind bending perspective; Coffee is one of the top traded commodities in the world! Think about that!
Growing methods have been developed to maximize production, with no regard to sustainability!
These non-organic beans are one of the most heavily chemically treated foods in the world, in its growing process.
Then insult to inquiry; our beans are disrespected further as they are steeped with synthetic processes! (The processing process, is yet another can worms.)
This is on top of the fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides – all this lands in the land! Not to mention the mindlessness of ‘out of sight out of mind.’ These un-wholly beans land in our cups! They cheat us as a holy-whole

Conventional coffee is often at the expense of environmental and human health. Not only does the environment suffer from this overload, but so do the people who live in it.
Farmers are exposed to a high level of chemicals while spraying the crops and harvest handling.
The surrounding communities are also impacted through chemical residues in the air and leach into water supplies.
These chemicals are highly toxic
and detrimental to human health and our Mother Earth!
What is done to the micro human family also has be applied to flora and fauna!
As well as our home the planet Earth!
Weee all need a mindfulness of good stewardship as we borrow from the land and our children’s future. We need to care about the health of our home planet, we share!
