Well-come 2023 “Do No Harm” Change Your Mind to Change Your Life

Happy New Year’s and Congratulations for surviving the shenanigans of 2020 and beyond. Let us greet each new day with gratitude for our resilience. Let us give up the self-imposed pressure Pledges against our perceived “imperfections.”

Acceptance of self, allows a softening, wherein compassion is developed. Respecting your process fuels the patience necessary for your highest potential of Love to be expressed. Aretha Franklin our Queen of Soul, sang her heart out about this ๐ŸŽถ

“R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Find out what it means to me

R-E-S-P-E-C-T”

“In with the New” by releasing the old New Year’s resolution paradigm of placing more demands upon ourselves! Instead, let us offer the gift of each new day as a living prayer in action.

Let our prayers in action be Kindness, beginning with ourselves! The most elusive practice, just may be found in the kindness of self-acceptance. Allowing for the truth of our imperfect ways. Giving up the need to impress with the need to improve. Let us instead add promises and pledges of self-care. Some say,

“Rest is a Spiritual Practice.”

You may notice, I am not a big fan of adding pressures to our daily grind in the form of “New Year’s resolutions.” I have come to understand that any ‘lasting’ self-improvement was made possible, on a foundation of true

          self-acceptance! The old adage:

 “What you Resist will Persist.”

Let us replace life’s exhausting ways, with self-acceptance; instead of Judgment. To replace self-loathing and criticism with self-acceptance; the place where true happiness dwells. Applying the healing balm of Kindness to self ~ allows awareness where the seeds of improvement are nourished in order to flourish!

 Keep in mind the spiritual adage, that ‘our experience of the world around us depends upon our frame of mind!’ This Truth should guide us towards the personal responsibility and guest for clear vision in our daily lives.

In my life I meditate replacing the need to medicate. The awareness stillness offers brings forward truths that rise to be recognized. When I reveal a stored memory I trust in my power to heal.

Ho’oponopono

I am seizing this New Year moment to share one of my spiritual practices. One of my most useful tools in the Art of Healing is Ho’oponopono.
The translation means
'to make things right.’
It is a powerful ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness. This prayer or focus on forgiveness was given to me in the 70’s by a Hawaiian ๐ŸŒบ gentle giant in San Francisco, Kahuna Vincent.

Ho'oponopono is an ancient powerful prayer, mantra, focus, spiritual practice, healing ritual or meditation. Call it what you will, it is powerful tool to “clean the slate,” sow to speak. That is when ‘missing the mark,’ of a transgression or a “sin.” It is in the holy presence of the present moment, wherein wholeness can occur. It is in this holy space of Now, that the soothing balm of forgiveness and gratitude can take place. This correction, this amends is what I call

๐Ÿ™  “a Living Prayer in Action.” ๐Ÿ™

Ho'oponopono

 (pronounced HO-oh-Po-no-Po-no)

teaches you to cleanse your consciousness of negative memories resulting in unconscious fears. This purification resolves and dissolves known and unknown patterns in your life. This is an act of dissipation, of disempowering programming ie automatic response triggers as well.

Ho’oponopono has been a

transmuting tool in my life.

A tool of Alchemy and metamorphosis. Taking a Crystalline moment of my life,

and turning it into a safe space, a cocoon-like prayer-filled place. It is in these moments the ‘I Am’ emerges from the chrysalis stage ready to spread my wings. Lighter and Brighter; for “Less is more.”

The Ho’oponopono prayer goes like this:

I am sorry;

Please forgive me;

Thank you,

  I love you.”

Anyone who knows of my ways, can say

 I love the wind. The vespers.

Grandchildren know I love

 “To blow the stink off.”

The Breath. Spiritus. I tend to use

Ho’oponopono

as a whispering blessing. For as my ears hear my mind believes. As in the command “Let there be light,” and there was.

Ho’ponopono is about Spirit and not about technique. And sow my lovely’s you can not do Ho’oponopono ‘wrong.’ At the heart of the matter, is your brave heart and your courage for self-truth. I am here to en-Courage you that to Reveal is to Heal!  This ancient Hawaiian counseling and prayer technique, “Has been recognized as part of the original art and science of healing and spiritual development of the peoples of the earth. What used to be reserved for shamanistic work has now been taught at the United Nations, the World Health Organization and institutions of healing throughout the world.”

Just between you, me and God;

more often than not, I engage and teach Ho’oponopono with EFT.

EFT is a no needle 5,000 year old system based upon Chinese medicine’s Acupunture. These Acupressure points engages the map of meridian

points on our body.

 In our book

 ‘Finding The Alchemist Within’

The Power of Weee, believes,

“The issues are often stored in tissues.” EFT aka Tapping is an

‘Emotional Freedom Technique.’

Simply put;

by tapping with the fingertips we input kinetic energy onto the “lay lines”

 of our body’s specific meridians.

These spots are: on the side hands, forehead, side eye, under eye’s cheek,  under nose, chin, chest, underarms,

and on top of head.

You gently tap away while you

think about or better yet

speak out your specific problem.

Be it a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, unhealthy pattern, health problem, or an unresolved issue                                   … well you get it.

Sadly, we have a world full of hurt that could be applied here!

I am a firm believer that a gentle smile upon your lips matters, psychologically.

As you voice positive affirmations; issues in the tissues stored as emotional distress can be revealed to heal to resolve and to dissolve! In my writings much emphasis is placed upon this first language of mankind,  laughter. I teach, it matters not whether you’re faking it until you make it. When you smile, your brain opens up a plethora of pharmaceutical neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin and endorphins. The total cost is simply turning that frown upside right; without negative side effects.

A True “Reset” with Harm To None.

A discerning reader may realize

 I take a different approach to Pharmacy.

Or, you maybe chalking my words up to ‘creative license’ from a perceived flower ๐ŸŒนchild. If I am honest, I would fess up to guilty as charged. But first, please hear my developed sensibilities out. Once again, going back to etymology. For you see, in my

Life’s Book, I rely upon a critical eye

 as I apply philosophy. Preferably, the return to the Roots, Back to the Basics of everything that comes into my view.

The etymology of Pharmacy; the 101 is a combination of; and I quote from a dictionary with copy and paste:

The “Greek term pharama form IE bher- (to (charm, enchant) and -(a)-ko- resulting in  pharmako-

 (magic, charm, cure, potion, medicine)” from ฯ†ฮฌฯฮผฮฑฮบฮฟฮฝ

phรกrmakon) charm, enchantment”)

charm, enchantment”), of uncertain but likely Pre-Greek origin. Attested since late 14th century.”

-end quote ;)

This definition steeped in the true magic found in the Art of Healing; is where my life’s dedication resides.

๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ ALOHA ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ

Inspired by Dr Seuss before cancel culture daze ;( A Ho’oponopono Poem:

I Am That I Am

I say it out loud

I say it to myself

I sing it in the park

I talk to God in the car

I talk to God wherever I are

I say prayers from morning’s start

I speak gratitude from the heart

I end my days in the same way

Et Tu? smiling;)

Ho’oponopono

I am sorry;

Please forgive me;

Thank you,

  I love you.”

๐Ÿ™ “God Bless Us, Everyone” ๐Ÿ™

An apple a day, and now “The rest of the story.” The Medical Journal actually studied this. Here’s the results:  “The study tells us that the ‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away’ aphorism was coined in 1913 but was based on the original form with a different rhyme, some 149 years ago in Wales: ‘Eat an apple on going to bed and you’ll keep the doctor from earning his bread,’ went the proverb in Pembrokeshire. The daily apple eaters in the study  were more likely to successfully avoid prescription medication than the people who did not eat apples.”

๐ŸŽ  “How do you like them apples?” ๐Ÿ

“Will wonders cease to exist?”
